![]() ![]() ![]() The important thing to know is that your +skills are far more effective per point past +20. Summon Necro isn't good naked that's true, but it only takes like +6-+8 skills to get a decent Summoner rolling with a Might Merc. ![]() Your summons are trash without gear for a Druid, and no amount of plus skills without a torch and charms will make a Windy even remotely useful that a Bone Nec couldn't do himself with an 8 spear white and some basic stuff/Summon Nec with Leoric and Curses. Necro is so much better than Druid with no gear. The druid is probably much better in P8 as well. A bad druid built like this is better than a bad necro IMO (because at least you'll be doing good damage) and a druid in great gear will still tear through things. Then do 20 in Lycanthropy, a few into Werewolf, 20 into Fury, and 40 into either a second element (fire or poison), summons, HoW and something, or w/e. Just put a bunch of points into Dire Wolf or Oak Sage and let +skills take care of the rest. Honestly, IMO, summon necro's only real point is getting you through hell with poor gear, or becoming reaosonably godly with godly gear.Ī Fury druid doesn't have to rely on a merc to kill bosses in an expedient fashion and you still have 10 summons who won't die often. Summon necro doesn't get stuck much other than that but has much much less HP. People say they do it naked all the time, but honestly unless you get a lucky spawn or have a boat-load of revives, hell council can be a pain if you're not 75+. Summon necro is very slow and will struggle like hell with hell council unless you have decent gear. ![]() Or you can arm a merc with Lawbringer and he'll break phys immunes for you. You can do two elements by having 40 points into rabies/creeper or into fireclaws and a synergy. IMO if you go Fury Druid with summons, the summons will give you a big meat shield and you can get loads of damage from Fury. ![]()
